Thanks guys, helpful responses, & have helped me formulate an opinion. The question was in regards to them contacting.

I guess it gets confusing when you were in contact with their siblings before, & now it makes it strange. So, yes, what about if the siblings would call you before, but now obviously they call more, what to do? It makes it awkward right?

no not at all. as long as your parenst are ok with it (as in talking to him on the phone). if there is any problem your parents will speak to his parents by themselves (like shaadi se pehle baat cheet itni zaida nahi honi chahiye)
