I believe that Jinns do exist because Quran has mentioned about Jinns itself. But I just cannot believe if they can possess a human body, I haven’t come across any Verse of the Quran which actually explains the powers of the Jinn, if someone can help me with that I would be greatful.

How is everyone? The exorcism is being held to a woman. Scientists can not do any thing about it, only religious people can. The act of exorcism is used when a jin forms into a human’s body. Therefore, it frees all evil spirits.
Jin can gain control to anyone who do not hold true to Allah Tallah. Then Jin causes a person to speak unknown words that even that person can not understand. A person may do any evil act.
How are you? Please read the article from that link as listed above. I learned from my class member's presentation in my religion course based on this topic in December. Before that I did not know what was the exorcism. Do you believe in exorcism?

SuperMe: I do believe in Jinns taking possession on humans for there is enough evience I found in Quran and nonetheless in many traditions of the Prophet:saw:
I don't think a Jinn would want to possess somebody who is already following the wrong path. In other words, they (bad Jinns) only possess or bother good people who are headed in the right direction. Perhaps, it is a test from Allah.
Hey why dont you read Surah 72 in Quran, with Tafsir, understand the reason why the Muawadithayn were revealed.
Then you got to read 6:128 in the Quran with understanding.
Then let me tell you for every human in this world there is a companion it is a jinn which is unseen it is called Qareen. Every human has a partner Jinn
Hadith - Sahih Muslim 6757, Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, similar narration 6759 by 'Aisha, r.a.
Allah’s Apostle said: There is none amongst you with whom is not an attache from amongst the jinn (devil). They (the Companions) said: Allah’s Apostle with you too? Thereupon he said: Yes, but Allah helps me against him and so I am safe from his hand and he does not command me but for good.
Why are we then suppose to say **Bismillah **when going to bathroom, changing clothes because Jinn will stay away.

Qatadah related from 'Abdullah ibn Sarjas who said, “The Messenger of Allah forbade urination into a hole.” Said Qatadah, “What is disliked about urinating into a hole?” Said he, “It is the residence of the jinn.” [Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn as-Sakin classified it as sahih]
By the way the Jinn enters the human body but it is not easy like putitng hand in the water. The jinn goes through terrible trauma, and its like a heave tension electric wire shock for the Jinn. Link does Jinn possess human body
