Okay for the sake of the argument let’s suppose afia was a combatant and US captured her from the camps of Taliban at Tora Bora lol, so what? Was not Raymond Davis a murderer? And still US gov went on to get him released from our Jail? We should do the same and should not leave our daughter at enemies’ place. If your daughter commits a crime in alberta and gets slapped 80 years jail term, will you disown her ? Or will you strive hard to get her released?
The fact is, she was never a combatant and was kidnapped from Karachi Pakistan.

Releasing Raymond Davies was the most cowardly, sell out act and puts our heads down in Shame. No other nation would have done that! Our brave Generals were very active in his release. Even if my kids were mass murderers I would still love them, it is my life principle to unconditionally love my children. My love will not put them above law or above natural order. I have drilled into my kids heads that life is not fair and make rational and logical decision. When one engages in a combat with someone a billion times more powerful the consequences are clear. I am disappointed that the girls who left west to marry ISIS have lost their citizenship and that is more unfair. Law does not treat women different, not in Pak, not in west. The females in Pak arrested in Pak on false blasphemy charges are daughters also, Bangladeshi women were also daughters, Baloch women are daughters also, Yemeni women are daughters also, so why special consideration for Aaafia. She had shot at a US soldier. Aaafias parents should not disown her but the terrorists she represents have killed many innocent women and children in Pak. Do you remember the school attack?
