KHAR: A senior Taliban leader on Thursday warned national newspapers, particularly Aaj-Kal and Express, to stop publishing pictures of women which offend them.
“I warn newspapers which are publishing photos [to stop] and have set a two-week deadline, otherwise we will boycott and take action against these papers,” Maulvi Faqir Muhammad, deputy head of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), told reporters.
**He said his militants would target government employees if the army takes action. “We will not retaliate against the army if we come under attack. We will target government employees in response to any army action,” he said. **
He did not elaborate what action the Taliban would take against the newspapers after the deadline expires.

What next? What will they ask for next - maybe no pictures of men without beard?
Taliban are using or abusing a noble religion like Islam, and their ideology is based on Islamic principles. You will never be able to change the Taliban and you cannot (or should not) kill them either.
You cannot kill an ideology, no matter how many bombs are dropped or how many people are killed on thrown in jails.
At this stage Pakistanis have just two choices. Either you join Taliban and be considered a Muslim, or you leave the country to find more tolerant place to live. In fact that's what most middle class Pakistanis are planning.

To find a woman’s pic in a newspaper doesn’t require a lot of literary skills.
As I said earlier, Taliban will not negotiate to the detriment of their core beliefs. Because their beliefs are based on the religion of Islam.
They may sit and talk to buy time, but that’s all. In the end they want to be successful in implementing Shariah in Pakistan. In the process of their struggle if they lose their life, they go to Jannat. And if they live to the ripe old age, they still go to jannat.
So either you accept their beliefs or find a more tolerant place to live.

Why do they want to impliment shariah in PAKISTAN? Why not Egypt, Lebanon, Syria or any other muslim country? Why does implementing shariah law in PAKISTAN so important to them?
