SHAWAL: The Taliban have threatened to kill Pakistani cricket star turned politician, Imran Khan, if he holds a planned march to their tribal stronghold to protest US drone attacks.
Although the Pakistani Taliban also oppose the strikes, spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan said they would attack Imran Khan because he calls himself a ”liberal” a term they associate with a lack of religious belief.
The threat could surprise many in Pakistan who have criticized Khan for not being tough enough on the Taliban and instead focusing his criticism on the government’s alliance with the US.
Khan has described himself as a liberal, but has also said he is a practicing Muslim. Ahsan spoke to The Associated Press in an interview on Monday in the militant group’s stronghold of South Waziristan.

He seems so naive when he says that he wants to go in the middle of Taliban because they trust him for opposing war against Taliban. He can't remember what they did toKhalid Khwaja, the father of Taliban.

He attended a jalsa in Balochistan when no other politician would've dared to go amidst all that violence. But I don't like how he takes such risks. He better think wisely and take this threat seriously.

So CIA has finally asked its TTP wing to try to eliminate Imran Khan so that CIA can continue to get slave's work from the current corrupt lot. But inshAllah no harm will come to Imran Khan.

Baluchistan is not a Taliban heartland, unlike FATA. Most people in Baluchistan want to be part of Pakistan & their grief is legitimate & for most part province is peaceful, too. Taliban on other hand, do not represent any legitimate cause, but they are band of murdering scums that should be eliminated.
