Last time I checked, this driver did not bomb any processions. But I guess for your “mujahids”, killing innocents is necessary for satisfaction purposes. Don’t have the auqaat or mardangi to fight the soldiers, so just go catch a random innocent and cut his throat. Congratulations to the jihadi warriors.

Killing of innocent one or more than one can never be justified.
Does anyone for sure know who might have killed him? Why on earth he was there in the land of war? Last time I checked that place was considered war zone. Anyone with any motive including robbing or suspecting him as spy might have killed him. They also kidnapped three afghans....so what's the motive? Sad by all means.

No one is supporting the killings. Just because this news doesn’t seem that momentous to me, doesn’t mean that I was supporting the murder. I thought you were bright enough to comprehend English.

So what? We all know who Taliban are. They were bunch of student who mysteriously got enormous amount of wealth and military support to defeat an enemy which is 10 times bigger than their size. Right? Even Americans don’t deny they created Taliban and now we have some Indian trying to change the history. How Pathetic.

The Taliban were basically madrasa grads led by ISI. After 9/11, Musharraf pulled out the ISI "handlers" and the Taliban collapsed. Taliban were NOT created by the US unless someone wants an alternate version of history.

i don’t know where you study geopolitics, but as a french, I studied in France and England and at both places was taught it was America who supported talibans to fight USSR in Afghanistan…and that Pakistan government had only be a "puppet"to help support them because of physical and tribal closeness to Afghanistan (ie in NWFP)…I learnt also that arm weapon traffic replaced heroin traffic in pak at that time…all supported by US of course

It is very sad that we are arguing about the origins of the idiots rather than condemning them who had no qualms in killing an unarmed ordinary truck driver.
This truck driver was out there to earn his daily bread and was not there as an agent of US or the so called satan. Are the taliban so namard that they have stooped to the low level of killing an innocent civilian who was only trying to help. He was not an armed combatant. He was there to help people build roads. All things said and done, taliban wouldnt have wanted the country to progress for obvious reason. Their version of Islam would only sell to the uneducated and the morons!!!.
Hence maybe this guy was a combatant in trying to improve the living standards of the people in Afghanistan...

Thi guy is from my state kerala and is survived by his aged parents,wife and two little kids.
These terrorists ended the hope of a family.His dream was to buid a house for his family and he went overseas with that dream and sadly had to lose his lives at the hands of MULLAHS.....................................................

I always thought that Taliban was a responsible group who cared the human values,atleast there had been some examples in the past,but by this action they overturned all my hopes and thoughts.

…nope in europe we enjoy far more free media so we have better access to information and when some ex colonel who fought gulf war is teaching classes and telling some of the hot stuff he learnt there well I believe more than the crap on CNN:D

the role played by pakistan in the taliban movement uprising is not offcial, it is only ethnic, taliban is a pushtun movement and there are pushtuns in pakistan. period.

The US supported Afghan Mujahideen to fight the Russians. The Taliban started in the mid 1990s after the Russians were kicked out. Some former Afghan mujahid leaders joined the Taliban but the two were entirely different phenomenon. The anti-Russian Afghan mujhaideen consisted of all ethnicities - Tajik, Hazara, Pashtun, Uzbek and Herat Shias. The Taliban were basically Pushtuns who were educated and trained in Pakistani madrassas. I challenge you to find a single article before the 1990s with the word "Taliban" as the group that fought the Russians. I have studied International Relations with the best and know what I'm talking about.
Secondly, I have personally met Christophe Jaffrelot when he was in the US at SAIS-Johns Hopkins. His 2002 book is titled "Pakistan: Nationalism without a nation" which I have read several times. He only says that the reason Pakistan created the Taliban was to avoid Pashtun nationalism. If you want real info, read Ahmed Rashid's "Taliban" and you will get details of Pakistan army and ISI sending covert units to fight with the Taliban. Whenever the Pak army support was pulled, Taliban would lose big. Rashid has details of which Pak army units played a role. Also read Larry Goodson's work on this. He used to live in Afghanistan. Another recent book is by Associated Press' Kathy Gannon who gives plenty of details on Pak army men and officers fighting as Taliban.
In short, I have a Ph D in this area and know much more than what most of the brainwashed here combined.
