Well if US make an announcement today that 1 thousand citizens of India or Pakistan will be given asylum in US, you will see whole population of Lahore and dehli at airports lol. Afgans fleeing the country has nothing to do with Talib fear, it’s actually the third world problem that exists everywhere.

I don’t blame you, its just that we are living in unfortunate times where innocents are branded as barbaric and barbaric as innocents. Talibans did not stuff thousands of hazaras, tajiks or uzbiks into metal containers but these tajiks and uzbiks did end up locking up talibs in containers killing thousands of them. And no one talks about this horrific massacre, not even human rights organisations, why ? Because these guys were fighting for the liberation of their land against international community, right? Still talibs forgave everyone and there has not been a single incident of revenge ever since Talibs took charge. This refreshes the memories of Fatha Makkah where Rasul ALLAH PBUH announced amnesty for everyone.
But when northern Alliance, panjshiries, Tajik uzbik hazara entered Kabul after US invasion, what did they do ? They tied up talib prisoners with hungry dogs. I don’t want to go in details but Talibans certainly are not barbaric, their rivals are!

We are living on a land that was created by GOD, not by west. East or West, the whole Earth belongs to HIM and HE gives livelihood and shelter. Who are you to say get outta here ? Did you or west created this earth?

Google search takes you to Indian and ofcourse western sources that have been doing propaganda against talib since long. There are many horrific stories about Iran’s treatment of minority sunnies and liberal people covered by the same sources, would you believe them too ? The fake news about Pakistan’s involvement in panjshir is the latest one.
The killing of that police woman has a different story from backend and has nothing to do with talib.
Just one example, had Taliban been vengeful they would not allow hazaras to take out Muharram processions under their gov this year.

lolz I can understand some people can’t digest this kind gesture by Taliban, because it has increased talib’s popularity even in the ranks of enemey.
But no one can change the fact that Talib did follow in the footsteps of Rasul ALLAH PBUH by giving public amnesty despite the fact that they had been subjected to horrific war crimes by both Americans and Afghan rivals over the years and this amnesty is very similar to fatha Makkah. Can iran and saudia do so for each other? I doubt that.

If different factions of talib can remain united in difficult times of war, i am sure they will keep this unity during favourable times of peace too. Let’s not play GOD and wait what future holds for them. If they were true to their ideology they were fighting for, which was to establish a land where ALLAH’s word will be final, they will be able to cross all odds eventually.
And if they were fighting for personal gains and gov and deviate from their ideology, they will meet the same fate which afghan Mujahedden met after russian withdrawal. And if that happens they can go to hell from my side.

This is just twisting of words and nothing else. There is no such thing as pro or anti. Talib’s supporters are supporting them for a reason and that is their ideology.

As far as West is concerned, people are against West and America because of their constant support to the state of Israel and their habit of waging wars against Muslims.

There are people on the ground who have send info out at the killing done by the taliban after taking control

be it relatives or extended families or those who managed to get out or afghan living outside

There is not much reliable media on the ground and one can assume all the souces is anti taliban / pro west

so no point as you will also.assume this to be fake news

As for allowing Shias to commemorate Muharrum, all eyes are on them so have to put on a show

People on ground (courtesy afghan journalists, and afghn expats) are even presenting Amir liaqat as col adil of Pakistan army who lost his life fighting the panjshir resistance :rotfl: Everyone is coining stories there just to prove they are under threat and they need asylum in US lol, and story of that police woman is no exception, i am not saying it’s fake but her killers are not talib. You will keep hearing similar stories time to time, state tuned.

Interestingly they have coined another story yesterday that talib have killed the brother of Amarullah saleh out of revenge lol. Someone needs to tell them amnesty is not for someone who chooses to pick up arms over amnesty. He was killed in action fighting the talib, what’s revenge in that? There is a whole network of propaganda that is working to damage talib’s reputation.

The way international community is behaving towards talib is enough to assume they are being painted back intentionally and majority of news about them is fake.

Being the neighbours of Afghanistan we can’t
turn a blind eye to what’s happening there since that will directly affect us.
But we are only allegedly involved in Afghanistan, that is **ONE ** country. Why don’t you give this bhashan to Iran who has been interfering in iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Syria, Pakistan and **everywhere in the region **for long. What is “wrong” for Pakistan should not be “right” for Iran.

Of course Pakistanis do support Taliban morally and there are reasons for that, but that does not mean Pakistan helped talib against panjshiries which is being said on Indian and iranin media. And forget about cities, majority of Afghans live in remote areas that throw their weight behind talib.

Yes you are GOD and you know everything about the backend intentions of talib. But i heard hazara tribes have pledged their allegiance to talib after the fall of Kabul. Being the GOD you should tell harazas about the intentions of talibs.
Also i watched a few news stories on independent news networks where they interviewed shias in Muharram processions. The people were happy and looked quite satisfied over the security arrangements provided by talib.

Well they remained United during their last gov, they have already practically shown us they are united and they are not afghan Mujahedden of 80s.

Talib are not hypcrates like West and other Muslim counties. They have shown practically they keep their word.

Obama increased drone strikes but also his democratic party passed the Kerry Lugar bill even if all the money wasn’t given to Pakistan. Bush never set up any reconstruction zones in Afghanistan/Pakistan as promised and lets not forget the fact that it was republicans Larry Pressler and junior Bush’s abba who imposed sanctions on Pakistan in 1989 so that even our own money that was paid for F-16s would not be refunded until years later until Clinton (guess what party?) when we got soybean and wheat. It wasn’t the ideal solution but it was still better than US holding on to the money.

Pakistan is not involved in Afghanistan this time around, but yes we were hoping and praying that talib would win since it serves our interests. Just like Iran is involved in Yemen Syria iraq to safeguard its interests.

This is bluff, Iran-US never been enemies. Infact iran and US have always been on same page in matters concerning international relations, be it US invasion of iraq, Afghanistan, be it backing India at world stage, be it so called war on terror etc. They never fought each other apart from exchanging heated arguments. These are sunni groups/countries that have put up a fight to US and Isreal on ground in last 60/70 years. Mark my words, US will never attack Iran, not even in next 50 years.

And for baise againt shia, Azerbaijan is a shia country. Iran never supported them, i did, pak did. The thing is iran uses Shias in others countries to safeguard its interests, but you would not see them throwing weight behind fellow Shia brothers in Azerbaijan since it does not serve their interests.

Pakistan had withdrawn diplomatic recognition by the time Zaeef was handed over.

There are conflicting reports that an invasion couldn’t have been stalled in 2001 as well as Taliban refusal to had over Osama. There wasn’t legal proof of 9/11 but Osama had been attacking america at the world trade center and USS Cole. All of this could have been avoided if Taliban as wanted by Pakistan had agreed to TAPI. They wouldn’t need Osama’s money or be under sanctions by 2001. I wonder if the Gulf brothers pushed them to say no since Central Asian oil and gas would have increased the supply of gas and even oil in the next phase leading to less lavish lifestyle of the one trick pony Gulfis.

OBL or no OBL, US invasion of Afghanistan was bound to happen, if not in 2001, may be later on, on some pretext. They were never going to tolerate such a state.

And i am glad talib did not hand over OBL since such an action would encourage US to bully Talib even more and US would think talib are scared. This may not sound practical to some people, but i feel this is not shaan of a Muslim to hand over a Muslim to crusaders and Zionists, even if he is criminal.

And yes i agree talib did many economic blunders during their first run, and that is understandable, they were inexperienced back then.

Last week there were 0 conflict-related deaths in Afghanistan after 20 years. Still no sign of any civil war. Domestic and International commercial flights have restarted. I wish Pakistan, Iran, Russia and China can continue to work together to keep the region peaceful by keeping the US out of it. Listening to the intentions of some US and Indian leaders sound ominous:

^^^That is sad indeed. But we must understand what is going on. The war has ended but there are so many of these trained fighters who have committed crimes against Pakistan and Pakistani government is after them. They only have two options left now, either they kill or they die. It is really important for Pakistani government to announce an amnesty to all such fighters so they have a 3rd option and can join back the mainstream. Government will have to show a big heart because some fighters may have killed Pakistani soldiers as well. But to avoid further bloodshed and to prevent foreign agencies exploiting such fighters, I don’t see any other option.

If they are in Pakistan then shut them down be it militarily or their madarsas. Hang anyone be it diesel or some clown upside down by their balls if need be. The army and rangers turned Karachi upside down when mqm allegedly had beaten up some soldier or paramilitary in the early nineties. Why do some people keep getting a pass?

Pakistan and Imran, if he is truly a ghairatmand mard not some two faced hijra, would demand Taliban to fix this issue now. Use China’s financial leverage to squeeze them in Afghanistan to make them walk the talk.

I am not in favor of allowing all of TTP to just come in and resettle without any consequences. Any one who just picked up arms has to give them, apologize and be monitored for a decade. The killers have to be punished under Sharia. Where is the Pakistani spirit of the past where we bombed Afghans in the sixties when they sent in the army to invade Pakistan?
