Now back to the taliban, over the last 4 or 5 years I have become increasingly sceptical about anything I read in the mainstream news, so Taliban using children as human sheilds, especially when the report itself says they have never used children has human sheilds before, sorry I dont buy it, until I see proof.

so if we hear about taliban involved in another firefight, they werent cowards and they didnt use children as shields.
although its not very clear who the taliban are today. im sure most if not all have died since 2001.

thats bull
most of the fighting is in helmand, the report above is regarding southern helmand. helmand is a half a continent away from the accused pak border area. i'll leave you to work out the logistics involved to move hundreds of fighters to helmand and how unususal this constant line will look in rural afghanistan. believe me nato have this scenario covered. the truth is something else. perhaps the allies are too trigger happy in an area which is perfect for them to do what they are happy to do - kill brownies. losing friends and making enemies.
its time for someone to suggest a change of direction in afghanistan for nato/usa.
