**Hundreds of Pakistani Taliban have attacked a district in the eastern Afghan province of Nooristan and a fierce fight is on, officials say.**Nearly 300 insurgents, led by Pakistani Taliban commander Maulana Fazlullah, entered Barg Matal district on Monday.
Seven Taliban fighters have been killed in the battle so far, an Afghan interior ministry spokesman said.
He said police in Nooristan had asked the authorities in Kabul for support and forces were sent to help them out.
