Taliban abducts, beheads Sikhs in Peshawar

Prove it.

Her father, Sir Zulfikar Ali Khan, was from a minor branch of the royal family of Maler Kotla. He, however, settled in Lahore, where his children were born and (with the exception of Begum Aizaz Rasul) their descendants still live today. Their ancestral mansion on Charing Cross now houses the headquarters of a bank, if I’m not mistaken. She was born and educated in West Punjab, and married off to some taluqdar in UP. Her connection to East Punjab is peripheral at best, and to count her as a E. Punjab Muslim success story after the ethnic cleansing of that state is silly.

The man has been settled in the West for over 60 years, and is best known for his work in British cinema and in Shakespearian theater, not Bollywood rubbish. There are plenty of Pakistanis involved in Bollywood films these days…it seems like Indians can’t make a movie without having some Pakistani pop artist record at least a few songs…I suppose you’ll want to claim them as Indian success stories too.

Why don’t you point out someone who isn’t from Maler Kotla, the one small exception to the general policy of ethnic cleansing in Patition-era Punjab?
