I’m not sure if this has been discussed before, but what is the reaction of the general public knowing innocent people are kept in the described circumstances?

I dont want to sound naive but lets not forget that various human rights organizations from around the world were allowed to visit the island and they all came up with the same conclution, that the detainees were given satisfactory treatment...
