Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
No, I mean headless totally …but with a brain of course because they need it to scare kids off and play creepy games. So sorry, you don’t qualify
We were traveling in a train from Karachi to Rawalpindi. It was dark outside and we were between Karachi and Kotri I think. There was nothing but this vast spooky desert on both sides.
Or older cousin mentioned of a tale that a guy died in this area, by falling off a moving train. He was standing by the door, trying to smoke. He was looking for his cigarette lighter in his pockets, when lost his balance and fell off. Legend has it that every now and then, during night times, he would poke his head from outside into the window of a running train, and asks if someone has a cigarette lighter.

Spooooooooooky
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
Okay…there was a tree right at the back of my sister’s house. My sister said she couldn’t look at it because whenever she tried to look at the tree she saw a figure sitting on the branch and staring right back at her.
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
once…I was alone in my empty pent house along the beach on the 44th floor…sleeping on the mattress after Isha..something woke me up, and sat on my chest, and started pulling my legs until I read the 4 quls and ayatul kursi.
twice, I see shadows in pitch dark in the forest in my backyard jumping from tree to tree.

Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
couple of years ago.. i stayed in Toronto for a couple of weeks.. the room I used to work in… i would suddenly smell a fragrance.. like a woman’s cologne/make up… ignored it first..started noticing it more towards the end of the stay…
left Toronto..driving to Atlanta… stopped in Cincinnati for the night… smelled the same perfume in the hotel room… went to sleep… woke up at 2:00 coz of a noise.. and there i saw her… standing against the window… covered in black… looking down at me… as i was trying to see her face.. boom… she pounced on me…turns out it was just my wife…

I was seriously getting scared until the end.
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
I have sleep paralysis attacks. It’s when you suddenly wake up and you can’t move. You can feel people moving around you but your limbs are frozen. Sometimes it feels like something is sitting on your chest, a heavy weight that’s just pushing you down and whispers in your ears.
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
Ending scared me the most… wife :shudders:

Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
man…is there anything about your family that is not the same in mine?
my dadiyaal moved from India to Pindi during the time of partition and some cousins remained there while some moved to Karachi. the trip between the two cities via train was a common occurrence several times per year.
we also had/have relatives in Kotri.
nostalgic
now for the spooky story…
Ammi used to be the head nurse at APWA hospital in Nazimabad, Karachi. If anyone is familiar with the bada maidaan area then they will recall the bridge for the old commuter train that runs behind this hospital. It was said that some poor young man was killed when trying to cross this bridge on foot as he was not visible soon enough for the engineer to stop the train. He was struck, his head severed from his body and both parts fell on the kachi abaadi beneath.
Since then sightings of a “sar kata” began on the rooftop of APWA hospital. His headless spirit was known to scare the younger nurses in training, much to the disgust of my mother who was responsible for them. The nurses would dare each other to go to the roof just around maghrib and you would hear screams emanating from the stairwell as they ran down in fear. (I have no idea if anyone ever saw this infamous sar-kata or not but I remember hearing the screams and hurried steps on the stairs. I also recall someone saying that they had found a quivering “lip” up there. yeah right.)
APWA was a charity maternity hospital so abnormal births resulting from poor prenatal care (where the child lived only for a few short moments or hours before passing) were a common occurrence. Most often the decision to not show the baby to the mother was made and the body buried beneath a large tree that grew near the side of the building. (Ironically “Lalla-ji”, the pathan that ran the canteen was the grave-digger as well. He loved us kids and always gave us treats from the glass candy jar.)
It was rumoured that a young woman was seen in a crazed stupor, running from beneath this tree. Since then the legend that “churails” that possessed and preyed upon women in an “impure” state lived in that tree and that nobody should venture there beyond the hour of dusk. (I’m sure it was some poor, grief-stricken woman that figured out where her baby had been buried that was seen and was the root of the legend. Plus spreading such a rumour would likely ensure that nobody went there to investigate the burials.)
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
to tum churail ko ‘wife’ kehte ho!
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
.
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
what does it say?
“I’m your dinner making my way back up…”?
Now that is spooky.
Except that my nanyaal moved to pindi and dadyaal to Karachi, though both are also related. One big biraadri
Re: Tales of Paranormal !!!***!!!
Didnt think I would dignify this with a response..but ek shair yaad aagaya…
woh pursish-e-gham ko ayen hain, kuch keh na sakoon chup rah na sakoon
khamosh rahoon tho mushkil hai, keh doon tho shikayat hoti hai
