In my humble opinion, the most beautiful song in the world - I still remember singing this at school. Listen to Yusuf Islam singing it here .
Tala’al-Badru ‘alayna,
min thaniyyatil-Wada’
wajaba al-shukru ‘alayna,
ma da’a lillahi da’
*O the White Moon rose over us
From the Valley of Wada’
And we owe it to show gratefulness
Where the call is to Allah *
Ayyuha al-mab’uthu fina
ji’ta bi-al-amri al-muta’
Ji’ta sharrafta al-Madinah
marhaban ya khayra da’
*O you who were raised amongst us
coming with a work to be obeyed
You have brought to this city nobleness
Welcome! best call to God’s way *
Tala’al-Badru ‘alayna,
min thaniyyatil-Wada’
wajaba al-shukru ‘alayna,
ma da’a lillahi da’
A very beautiful song.. Thanks for sharing

Just like to add - This was sung for the Prophet(saw) and his Sahaba when they entered Medina for the first time.
Thanks, Dil he Pakistani, CocoNut, and Mirza Ruswa - glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the link to other audio material, CocoNut

Arman, oops my bad - I should have stated that in my first post. Sorry. Thanks.
A list of other really good Arabic Nasheeds here . Out of the first section I like the very first one the best.
Wish I understood Arabic better though.

how are you doing?
I am sorry about that first link; it is not working for me now either. I shouldn’t have posted it, I apologize. If you have the time, please check out this version of Tala’al-Badru’alayna by Yusuf Islam (or at least someone who sounds like him!). I think you will also like Nabiyyun Nabiyyun from the helpful **link** provided by Coconut above.
More Nasheeds may also be found here .
Regarding translation of Nasheeds, I found this website, although still very much under construction, is really interesting. Most of the translated Nasheeds on their site are, for the time being, from Malaysian Nasheed groups. I’ve only ever heard Urdu, English, and Arabic Nasheeds and it’s really nice to hear some in Malay as well (all English translations are provided). I liked all of the Nasheeds from the group ‘NowSeeHeart.’ Unfortunately the site is still heavily under construction so some of the links may not work.
I hope that helps

Sanakhudu is another good Nasheed.
Nadia many thanks for sharing. Do you have the translation of this Nasheed ?
Tariq Jabir Its a continuation of his work such as Sanakhudu which Nadia_H posted.

Thanks coconut for that link.
Thank you for the link, CocoNut:)
The English translation may be found here ; this website states “Sanakhudu” is a Palestinian Liberation Anthem. I am not certain who wrote the lyrics, but it is well-sung by Tariq Jabir.
