I started saying 'wagerah wagerah' a lot. Once I went for ayaadat of my uncle and asked him 'aap ne dawai wagerah' kha li and he said 'dawai' to khali wagerah ka pata nahin.. Afterwards, this wagerah wagerah ended

I used to think that takiya kalaam means pillow talk since takiya literally means pillow in Urdu, right?

yes pillow is Takiya in Urdu. Takiya is an object for support, so 'Takiiya Kalam' is a phrase which is used as support by speaker to continue his conversation.
