Re: taking ur laptop to pak!

U can buy the wireless usb for internet its around 1000 and use internet easily on ur laptop

Re: taking ur laptop to pak!

Everything is available unless you are going to a remote village in some rural area :)

I am not sure what cords you are talking about but there are number of wireless high speed internet services available including Wateen, Wi-Tribe, Qubee, WorldCall Evdo, PTCL Evo & Mobilink Infinity. Even if you are in some area that is not covered with these services, you can still use internet on your laptop through mobile phone GPRS. All mobile phone companies provide this service and they have coverage almost all over Pakistan including the rural areas.

n the cord i mean like its power..like charging it n stuff..dont i need a cord wiht power watt of paksitan?..where would i get it?

Re: taking ur laptop to pak!

^ you can ask the shop where you bought your laptop, and buy a new charger which works with 220v, and don't forget to get some universal plug adapter, those which can be used almost with any type and shape of wall sockets

Re: taking ur laptop to pak!

Your laptop charger might already support 220v. I bought my laptop from USA and its charger supports input from 100v to 240v. Just read it on your charger and if its the range (100v to 240v) then you can use it in Pakistan without any problem.

I'm not sure if Wimax services will work in village of Faisalabad but mobile phone GPRS will work for sure.
