Taking it off..

Re: Taking it off..

Guilty here :bummer: but I don’t look like a raccoon by morning :hehe:
I use baby oil to remove my makeup.

Re: Taking it off..

Guilty.

Did that last night.

I just wash my face, tone and moisturize. I need to go wash the makeup off my face right now.

I'm usually good with cleaning and removing make-up. But it was one of those nights where I worked over 21 hours.. I didn't even take-off the huge jhumka's.. and for the very first time I slept on my back too!

I use Clinique's make-up remover though.. and wash my face right after.

Re: Taking it off..

I use the clarisonic makeup remover brush. Its fast and easy.

Re: Taking it off..

I use baby wipes - they're economical and very effective, including for the eyes.

I have to remove everything before I go to sleep. I use unfragranced baby wipes for sensitive skin, I find them to be much more gentle than facial wipes and they're cheaper as well. Then I remove my eye makeup by soaking cotton pads in either olive oil or baby oil.

So, do you not use a night cream at all? I'm thinking of working my night mousturiser out of my routine...I don't think it does much and I like your idea of the rose water plus a drop of olive oil.

Re: Taking it off..

I've heard bad things about baby oil or other petroleum based products around the eye area... dunno how true they are though.

Syraa - I used to use my regular moisturiser.. I guess I'm not yet feeling as old as I'm getting, to worry about all that stuff yet :p
I've been using cold pressed extra virgin olive oil for about 2 months now. I keep it in a little pipette dropper bottle. Sometimes in the morning, after showing I have stubborn dry patches that I used to put aloe vera on but it used to take a while of rubbing it in to sort them out. Now, I do the same thing that I do at night and it sorts them out in 2 secs... only on the extra dry bits though, use my moisturiser everywhere else.
