Jonas is no where rich

lol…wait till the boy grows up lol…he don’t know that inner desi pops out sooner or later..

I do agree that developing yourself as a person (physically, professionally, character, etc) helps to bring about better opportunities.

However, let’s say, that an actress wants to marry a specific guy. It could even be a specific costar or maybe a friend that she has feelings for. But he doesn’t feel the same way about her. Maybe he likes some other woman. And that other woman could be someone who is on equal footing with the actress…or maybe she could even be someone who is less attractive/successful than the actress; but the guy has his heart set on this other woman. In this hypothetical scenario all of the actress’s gymming, plastic surgery, style, fame, and success…did not land her the exact/specific guy she wanted. At some point…the actress might get herself a much, much better guy than the one she wanted. But all her assets were not able to get her that one specific guy. I think that’s destiny at play.

Shouldnt this be in showbiz section?

It is more about motivation, planning, strategizing and taking control of how your life is going to be rather than hiding behind excuses of Gods will for failures in your life resulting from laziness, bad attitude and poor decision making skills.

I am not sure if she did Istakhara before she dated Jonas.

Umm Bobby uncle, you must not be familiar with PR relationships. Not much is genuine in the hollyworld.

I will not comment about what it takes to get a break in bolly and hollywood because it is not pretty.

But about the topic, yes one has to hustle. Ever heard the phrase, harkat mein barkat or God helps those who help themselves?

Bobby1 Calm down please. They’re JUST engaged. You are ripping this topic into shreds with all this talk about strategic planning and whatnot.

Umm anyone remembers the movie “American Sweetheart”?

This isn’t about Priyanka and Nick. It’s really about Bob’s disdain for the religious folks or those of us who believe that destiny has some influence in our lives. No matter how many times you tell him that you do not dismiss the importance and necessity of hard work, it’s not enough for him. He will only be appeased when you eliminate destiny/fate altogether as the two them are connected to God, which is another matter he doesn’t believe in.

Well did wait till 36 lmao

Bollywood starlets who go to Hollywood generally do some of the most flop projects. Priyanka isn’t completely exempt from this, as she is probably more known in Hollywood for red carpet appearances and her relationship with Nick Jonas than anything she has done as an actress. However, Bobs is right about her determination and spirit. She is far more ambitious than a lot of Bollywood actresses. I mean, another fellow Beauty Queen turned actress Aishwarya Rai wasn’t as successful as Priyanka (in both Bollywood and Hollywood) despite Aishwarya having this ~exotic ~otherwordly beauty that she could have banked on more.

I think anyone who works hard for things in life gets the reward whether that be in our relationships, career, looks/health, etc.
Not sure if her working hard has anything to do with getting a “rich gora” unless that’s what she wanted and was working towards.

You can work hard and get married to an average person - it really depends on what YOU want in a partner.

Also, no faith encourages you to just wait around for things to happen. As a muslim I strongly believe that my tawakkul (trust in Allah) along with my effort brings me towards success.

And it will be said, "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated" (Quran, 76:22)

So in chaddi, meaning short, what is this thread ejjactly about?

(a) Priyanka is not only ‘pursh’, rather maha-pursh since she got a gora ass?

(b) Priyanka is a symbol of successful goddess since she achieved a 10 year younger Jackass?

(c) Now All desi girls will go blind in the shine of brightness pouring out of the manboobs of that gora as he rips his shirt off like Salman Khan and will start picking over every Tom, dick and harry gora to pheraying Saat pheray?

(d) Bobby is offering his super highly valuable services to coach and mentor all desi Kaniyaen to bring kute kute goras in their life too which bob himself had been dreaming for all his life

(e) All girls should strictly avoid doing istekhara and only and only consult our shadi and kamiyabi guru Spongebob alias bobby1

(f) All of the above.

She basically got lucky to have been given the movies to have landed in hollywood to have been engaged to who shes engaged to. She worked hard just like everyone else inthe industry howcome they not all marrying gora men if thats what makes one succesful. Destiny is real you have people who study alot harder than others but dont do as well, you have people just get given good roles because of affliations, people who work hard years on end just to make ends meet and others who get everthing handed to them on a plate. If that isnot destiny what is. There is a plan in place for everyone and we work as hard as we were written to work and then we get what we were destined to get. No one sits anywhere waiting for things to happen. Everybody just doesnot get the same results from the same moves.

Obviously doing nothing and expecting greatness is foolish. But to say divine intervention is not real and through hardwork dedication and confidence we can achieve it all is not entirely true either. If its not written for you you wont get it try all you want.

When a situation that defies all reason and odds takes place ~ Destiny

When one’s best efforts are trumped by the unexpected ~ Destiny

Hazrat Ali RA: All matters are subject to destiny, so much so that sometimes death results from effort.
