Taking a step back

Every Pakistani believes that Pakistan’s place is centre stage in world politics and more important leading the charge on political issues that affect the Islamic world. This is extremely evident in the manner in which we dominate all issues in the OIC and how strong of a player we are in the UN and WTO, compared to our pathetic economic development, lack of military prowress and lastly limited influence in this world.

To put it simply, our bark is much worse than our bite.

So the question is should Pakistan lay off all the major political discussions and being roped into issues that does not concern them, until our own house is set in order?

Pakistan will always be in the news, more often then not on propaganda matters. We can’t change that. But we can change what positive news that comes out of Pakistan. But sadly that requires a leadership that is receptive to the will of the people and thinks of the country first.

Re: Taking a step back

what is the will of the people CM? its hard to put a finger on that even for two intelligent people such as Gilani and Zardari

i think when you say every Pakistani believes Pakistan should be center stage, that suggests its the will of the people, no?
