Taking A Multi-Vitamin Everyday

How many of you take a multi vitamin everyday? Is it really supposed to benefit you…I heard somewhere that it can make you gain weight? I also heard that taking one everyday can help with hair loss and skin, stuff that you don’t get out of daily foods that we don’t get, but is this true?

same here i just started taking mine, i haven't really noticed a difference yet but i guess i need to be patient.

Iron increases appetite. I am not too sure about multi vitanmins.

Irony, i started my multi vitamins just this week too.

Everytime i start taking multi vitamins and am all enthusiastic and health conscious, it takes a week or 10 days for me to get back to being lazy again and skip them:s My mum takes them always but i havent found any changes in her diet, skin or hair:p my sister, on the other hand has the most amazing hair quality mashAllah, so unlike anyone else from the family! But im not sure whether its genes or the vitamins. Overall, yes vitamins do help to cover the shortages (since we do not get everything from food) but i think it takes time to show- or even if it doesnt 'show' maybe one feels healthier or stronger internally :)

I take Vitamin b Complex, Zinc, vitamin c and vitamin d. This has been extremely beneficial to my skin. My skin was horribly covered with acne last year and now its soo clear that i love it Mashallah.

Dr Andrew Weil doesn't recommend any supplements such as vitamins/minerals. The only thing he strongly recommends is omega3 (fish oil)

i am taking supplement from 4 years. firstly i tried epivite and perfectile. but hv low potency and i didn't see any difference in my hair and skin. but now a dermatologist recommend fastin. it is little bit high potency. and i feel good change in me. also i am taking ensure.
now a days food and drinks r not pure. and we can't all in balance. so i think like this vitamin help us a lot.

u take medicine for acne can u tell me the name and severity of acne. i also wanna know. as doc say my (jigar) forget the name is no working properly so i hv to add water and juices in my diet as much as i can. for more i wanna know.if u can. i will be thankful.

I've heard stuff about fish oil too! I wanna start taking those pills, they're supposedly really good for hair and skin...

I take calcium, vit d, mag ---- iron, folic acid. and yes it does make a difference. I use to get tired very quickly and had SPD during preg. so it did help me to some extent
