Mind you I have great respect for Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi as he did a lot for his people, Sadiq Public School in Bahawalpur is one of the best schools of the country which is the living example of his vision for the well being of his people.

However some more details about the annexation of Bahawalpur into West Pakistan from Wikipedia.

In 1953, Sir Sadeq represented Pakistan at the installation of Faisal II of Iraq and at the coronation of Elizabeth II. Two years later, Sir Sadeq was promoted to General in the Pakistani Army, and the same year, he merged his state into West Pakistan while continuing to hold ruling powers.

Merger into west Pakistan and merger of a province into Punjab are two different thing .
