This is so awesome that I had to share it in All Views instead of C&T.

For everyone who keeps complaining about FB privacy but doesn’t bother with changing their account settings… if this doesn’t make you take a look at your settings, I don’t know what will.

It’s a safe app, so feel free to try it out.

It’s creepy, but a very effective reminder!

It should have been based on the information I have made available to public because my tagged photos and friends list are not. It wasn't creepy to be honest maybe because I don't have much on my FB.

for the power users among us, this is true - but for the 90% of users who don't think twice before clicking facebook connect or those who don't have privacy lists setup properly, this is the type of reminder that might just get them thinking.

hehe…its a good one…i figured one more thing.
there are loads of apps we tend to allow (like the lollipop one) but they aren’t on your main page..

and this sneaky lollipop itself will remain there…unless you remove it …

^ @Marmalade, did you click on the button on the website and give access to your FB account? It should show you a "movie clip" after you do so.

OMG..but one thing the info it had in the video was a bit old…like those contacts whom i have deleted from my friends list now where being shown there, like i was tagged in someone’s photo and i removed my name from tag list and then erased that person from my friend’s list either…this video had that person and photo in my profile …:eek:
what does it means now

Can someone tell me how to delete this app now? I mean I've looked everywhere on my FB settings to find out exactly where this app is but it's no where to be found. I know I didn't delete it. So don't see how safe this app is if I can't even remove it.

However, coming back to the app, all apps have access to your walls, pictures etc. It's a flaw in FB's own privacy settings, not something that we allow/don't allow. If you want to use that app, you have to unfortunately give access to these platforms. But I know for sure that people I don't want to give access to my information, they don't have that access. Similarly, all this app was showing me was pictures I'm tagged in, not pictures I've uploaded myself. Again, it's something in FB that allows the uploader to share the tags of friends to friends.

umm I suppose, because I have come across people who have their profile open for public.

Thanks for the link nomi! I forgot to remove it last night but in the past I have deleted all apps I used and they weren’t very many.

That’s exactly why I dislike apps and either remove them asap or avoid using them.

OMG..this was creepy !

I hardly accept permission from any third party apps now. They can access all info present on our fb page!

Hehe I had already been doing this before I saw this. Butttt I had some very old apps lying which I just deleted :hehe:
