Mennonites are a Christian sect which is very peaceful and they do NOT use luxuries of life even in today’s time. they don’t use electricity, do not use cars, do not send their kids to public schools, they do not use farm machinery.

there were 70% people of German heritage here. they still are about 50%. they speak German and English.

their women, even today, are fully covered from head to toe and also wear a burq’a type outer garment.

they run a Farmer’s Market here and i go their to buy fresh fruits and veggies. they are very nice people.

here is a glimpse of these people. even today, we see these horse driven buggies on Ontario’s regional roads.

lol...yes...that was quite a luxury.

i think they do NOT believe in luxuries in life. they want to live a simple life and do NOT want to destroy the environment. they live in complete harmony. they aren't polluters.

i used to see them bring their own cloth bags [thaila] for shopping when everyone was using plastic bags. no, we also use cloth bags but we were like 50 years behind as compared to them.

they do not believe in wars. the local Mennonites went to Iraq to put themselves in harm's way to stop the war.

the owner of the Environmental Studies company once i worked for was a Mennonite. not ALL the Mennonites live like Mennonites. some live like anyone else.

I would like to go to that era just as a tourist for some hours

did he pass his life in Delhi, as before Mughals and till Shahjahan Agra was the capital thanks to that pagal badshah from Tughlaq dynasty.

Agra was founded by Muhammad bin tuglaq, he shifted capital to Devgiri(Daulatabad), Agra was founded by Sikandar Lodi of Lodhi dynasty:)
