I heard that a lot of these buildings are almost half- empty...that they keep building more buildings, but the rooms aren't being rented by businesses, etc... is that true?
no pcg, that was around 15 years back when property wasnt booming. 2day its a totally different scenario. With these projects, almost nearing completion, the property sector is already rock steady & finding a 2 bedroom apartment only in Dubai is a daunting task, unless if its a new building. If its old, its taken...!
As far as the freehold property sector is concerned, market is quite aggressive, but people are still reluctant to take any chances...although the marina (da 1st pic) has been totally sold out...the rest of the projects will complete by 2007-10...so people are sitting back, & waiting for the best to happen.
Property over here seems to be taking a course, Xactly like Hong Kong.
