moon u are right that mahnoor is a beautiful girl and all but sunita ki beauty ager aap ko pasand nahi that doesnt mean that she is not beautiful.....ager aisa hota to kabhi bhi ideal pairs(in real life) nahi ban sakte thee. getting my point :).
waise one more thing u guys are very big fan of 'riffat siraj' but i dont think she has the sense of making characters.....her stories are good but not the character sketching and i m saying this bcz her characters change so rapidly that one can not imagine in real life. i know u can write it very easily but to show that is quite impossible. jaisa ke reeba ke character mai hai kabhi bhi tom boy itni jaldi apne aap ko itni jaldi change nahi ker sakta.
well,i’m not comparing it with DDD cuz DDD was an outstanding serial..but seems DDD k retelecast ka abhi koi chance nahi hai..

you are right. I like all of Riffat siraj's novals and I have read all of them.
well u guya are big fan of riffat siraj, its good.....but i still belive that she has good stories but the knitting and character sketching are weak
i think we are discussing the characters much earlier cz hum sub ne novel parha hai is liye on screen characters se fimilier hone mai time lage ga, thats my view point.
actually i ve also read the novel and i dont want to force my opinion much earlier. kunke aisa hota hai ke everyone imagine differently when they read any novel. ho sakta hai is mai characters or may be story thodhi change ho.
one more thing, first 2 eps shows that its a new world story instead of a novel which is 10 to 15 years old.

i am sorry but i don't like the way you are justifying everything that goes wrong in the drama by saying it's a new world story.
jiss tahan ki families iss story mai dikha'ee gai hain, woh after 10, 15 years bhi aisi hi hain. families doesn change in 10 years from burqa tou bikini.
anyways, if they are going to take a very famous novel that thousands fo ppl have read and make a drama out of it, they should keep it similar to the story. because people already have a strong imagination of all the characters.
and characters were the coolest part of that novel. speically pasha, his getup his style etc. woh hi nahi hai.
it's an ok drama, and it's just a drama, not a master piece like the novel. because all those things that made this story a master piece are missing from the drama.
momal was a kid, hardly 12, 13 years old that why she was unaware of a lot of things in real life and that is why she went through the situation, omaima is quit old to be playing moomal and justifying the character.
anyways, everything i am saying is my personal opinion no one have to agree to it. it just sorta disturb people like us who are a fan of this novel.
well sab apni apni jaga theek hain,i know everyone has his/her own opinion..characters r not weak,its up to director and producer k woh novel ko kis tarah dramatize kertay hain..i know is ki story aur characters change hon ge..like mahnoor belongs to a poor family lakin drama main us ka itna acha flat dekhaya hai..Reeba ka character bilkul change hai...i think shuru k episodes yasir ne direct kiye hain jab hi Danish nawaz b nazar a rahai hain..

Hiba, i like ur point which u ve raised about marvi(moomal), you are right and one more info for u that yasir nawaz is not related to this play in anyway. acha also think about the amazing thing that sub ka opinion kitna different hota hai jabke novel aik hi hai......i really like it the most, this shows that everyone has different perspective and imagination....great :).
i also agree with yanzala, u are right but just compare ur opinion with the play and try to judge it logically. and thats my point. i also think that sometimes the characters or story has these flaws and all but then i critisize muself first.

after DDD yasir nawaz mentioned 2-3 times that his next project was TLH,i wonder what happend then :konfused:
