Tailor - Hemming

Any tailor at Mississauga who does satisfactory hemming of pants at a good price?

Edited later: I did underline satisfactory !!

Re: Tailor - Hemming

I usually get my pants hemmed from a shop called "tailor's choice" in square 1... its across from Shopper's drug mart, 1st floor.. (near timmies)
They're pretty good, less expensive than the other hemming store in square one "stitch-it"... and always on time..

p.s. im a very satisfied customer.. :)

Re: Tailor - Hemming

try your local dry cleaners....they usually offer the same service for less cost.

Re: Tailor - Hemming

what do you consider a good price?

I normally go to local dry cleaner.

Lol. How much on average do you pay per pant dear?

Yes, The guy who used to hem my pants has moved. I am unwilling to experiment. Thus, my inquiry.

$12 or under.

I pay about $5, but that's because I get coupons :) lol ... but their regular price is around 10 bucks.

and where do you get your coupons from dear? :p

Re: Tailor - Hemming

I buy most of my pants from square 1, and all shops in the mall carry the hemming coupons. you just gotta be desi enough to ask :)

Oh okay. I purchased my pants from Harry Rosen at Heartland.

I will go there this weekend. Thank you for the reccommendation dear.

:)

Sure, NP.

Re: Tailor - Hemming

Do you work downtown? If so, there's a lady in the PATH who does it for $10 or $8 (depending on her mood). She's pretty good (at least my experience with ladies trousers).

I can give you her direction if you want to try her services.

Ladies and their ever changing moods. Lol.

I am at Bay and Wellington intersection. Whats her address?

Re: Tailor - Hemming

btw, if you are ever taking jeans to them make sure you ask for European hemming. They charge a bit extra for it.

She's in Commerce Court - I want to say Commerce Court West or maybe North. She sits in the store called BeBe Joon (the store next to the Shoe Repair store by Second Cup).

I've been to the tailor in First Canadian Place and one in Eaton Centre - but wasn't as happy with their work.

She's hemmed quite a few pairs of trousers and put zippers on my clothes as well.

Thank you dear. :)
