According to Pakistani constitution, since he has dual-nationality, he could not contest election nor could hold any political posts, so obviously, he could not be thinking that he would head caretaker government.
For me, whatever a person dreams or claims that he dreamt, I would not call that person liar, as dream can have no bound. Dream could be as weird as imagination.
That does not mean I believe on other peoples’ dreams or even feel that what a person is claiming he dreamt he must have dreamt. Reason is simple, that is, I am not God that I could tell what person is saying or claiming is really what he dreamt or not. Regardless other people’s dreams are irrelevant for me, as it would not affect me or my thinking.
For instance, you can claim that you saw God in your dream who told you that world is to end in 2050 AD, and still I would not say that you are lying. I would just consider your dreams as product of your imagination (same about TUQ dreams).
I think that presently he is addressing with less thinking of Pakistani audience … but with western media in mind. Later, he might come back for Pakistani consumption and that would be in Urdu.
Things that I like about TUQ is that he sounds moderate, non-violent, and believes in democracy & his supporters are carrying Pakistani flags instead of their party’s flags. What I don’t like about him is that he seems like opportunist who is trying to derail the system when elections are right around the corner.
You are right Brother … if there is anything important in news, hopefully someone would post it here … Plus, one can have feelings of contrasting views on news too.
Yea, he is clever. He make sure that Pakistani media do not quote him wrongly and western media do not misquote him … so he is giving speech in English and Urdu both… It would not be like ‘CJ case’ that when government suspended him, news media start claiming that he got sacked quoting that he got ‘muattal’ and since people had no idea what muattal means, they thought he got sacked … but reality is that in urdu (what I know) ‘muattal’ means ‘suspension’ (some people use the word for sacking … as it seems more polite) and ‘Kharij’ means ‘sack’.
