It is refreshing to see a Barelvi scholar of the stature of Tahir-ul-Qadri to break with other Barelvis and condemn Mumtaz Qadri as a murderer. He also emphasized that Salman Taseer did not commit blasphemy.

he is not the first one. Pakistan ullema council president allama tahir ashrafi was the first one to condemn the killing right when it happened.

If all of the big names are condemning the action of qadri, then why the people who are protesting the court's decision dont follow them ???
doesnt these protesting people follow the religious scholers because they know the best about the subject(religion/Islam)?

Where were these guys when Taseer was initially blamed of blasphemy? I think if they had spoken loudly very initially it may not have happened.

Because the people protesting in courts and destroying the property are not uneducated religious nutjobs instead they are well educated, well enlightened, and well law knowing lawyers.
