Re: Tahir Shah’s feedback on Amir Liaqat
for someone that vehemently claims “Main jawab nahin dayta!!!” the tirade is quite hypocritical…
then again, what can you expect from Amir? Par for the course I’d say.
Re: Tahir Shah’s feedback on Amir Liaqat
True that. Amir is a fraud. I have yet to see someone who likes him. But there are some “ethnically” challenged folks around here who have to ridicule Karachiites only because that one fool belongs to the city of million of people.
Tahir’s song is being mocked by almost everyone. But it still does not give anyone the right to invite Tahir only to ridicule him personally. Only Amir Liaqat could do that.
Amir Liaqat was totally exposed when his clips were circulated using vulgar language. It is difficult to believe such a low level person could still be given the opportunity to perform a religious show.
BTW, it is not just Amir. His brother Imran Liaqat is also quite a character. Runs in the family.

Nadeem Paracha on the wonder boy, Amir Liaqat, and his evergreen logic:
http://blog.dawn.com/2010/02/04/evergreen-logic/
“Our team has been losing a lot lately. So, a viewer called me and said, Liaquat bhai, do mention the fact that ever since Pakistani cricketers started wearing shoes with green soles, they have started to lose!”
Yup, you read that right. Liaquat *bhai *then went on to endorse this brilliant insight by suggesting that green soles are the culprit because green is the colour of Islam and also of our national flag.
Marvelous.
…
Liaquat then quickly adds that this was a matter of faith and not aqal (reason). In fact, he said that such talk has to do with belief and would not be understood by the ‘worshippers of reason’ (aqal kay poojney walley).

I feel so bad for the snake. It was the star of the show...and nobody wanted to look eye to eye with snakey.
Re: Tahir Shah's feedback on Amir Liaqat
His parody was on BNN last night along with the 1-pound fish guy. It was funny.
