I used to really like and respect Amir Liaqat show Alim online until I watched his leaked video, disgusted by that now I call him fitna-tul-waqt.
Jo b hai he has the ability to mesmerize listners/viewers.

I think you still see the glimpse of it in the current day PTV. Their anchors and news reporter still speak the most tolerable form of Urdu.

Havent really seen PTV in past 10 years...but I hope they still have decent people like mustansar Hussain tarar and quratul ain rizwi.

5 years ago watching aalim online , never did I think this would be what Amir Liaquat would turn into. It is as if after the leaked videos , instead of improving and re- building himself he's changed direction. Basically he' just another entertainment tele host now !
I just don't get what's going through Amir Liaquat's head when he's doing these chichori harqaten and that too in the holy month of Ramadan. Sahir Lodhi is known as being chichora but honestly speaking when he did Geo's 'Inam ramadan' about 3 years back , he actually did a decent job but oh my Amir liaquat is behaving like a big hyper child.
Jis kisi ke thori se respect hogi vo bhee gayee.
I feel sorry for Taher Shah. It must have been so awful and awkward for him. I've never heard about his music nor him but he was a guest on the show and should have been treated like one. Its funny how Amir is making fun of his singing. If he was really that bothered , then why invite a singer ? why not a mulla or naatkhawan which would have been way more appropriate than having to hear songs in ramadan programming !!!

iss poot ke paon paalne main nazar aate the... He did drama of lying in fake qabr 5 years ago. He used to utter dialogues like 'main iftari apnon main kar sakta tha, parties main ja sakta tha, lekin main aap ke liye ye transmission kar raha hoon'.... ihsan jatane wala hamesha ghatiya hota hai.... His ghatya-pun is showing heights.

But a bitter truth is all these kinda people get more popularity with criticism, they do odd things in shows intentionally so when public heard they become curious to know what that person is doing and watch shows, this is their main motive they want popularity and ratings either with +ve/-ve feedback or whatever.

Amir Liaqat knows nothing about maintaining personal space. You don't touch another man's hair and hug him the way he did with Tahir. And the comments towards the end.. "aap ne mulk ko nai tafreeh di hai, ye qaum ro rahi thi, aap ne inn ko sakoon diya hai, burray comments bharr main jayin". Tahir ki shakal dekhne wali thi listening to all this, I say he showed a lot of hosla not retaliating in such a situation.

You do not come onto a Ramadan Iftar Transmission where 99% of the audience are from the ‘lower class’ and have their own issues to deal with and start singing about intimacy - and that too in English!!! Think logically.
How can you cry for respect when you don’t behave (or sing) with respect? People are not going to respect that kind of ‘music’ and I’m sure the majority of people in the audience didn’t even understand what he was singing cause he was singing it in English. What a fool.
As usual the hate for Aamir is amazing. This man called out Javeria, Saud and all the other Pakistani celebrities for doing diddly squat during their iftar transmissions other than showing off and chit chatting. At least this man is doing something for the public - which is a hell of a lot more than anybody else on the air right now.
Junaid Jamshed needs some originality. He’s copied everything about the Aamir Liaquat show from the stage set to his topics. Get real.

Amir Liaqat first INVITED and then ASKED Tahir Shah to sing EYE TO EYE. Amir Liaqat should have had better sense to have a SINGER on his show and then ask him to sing a song in ENGLISH. Amir Liaqat should have realized what kind of audience his show caters to and whether they can relate to a song sung in ENGLISH that too in RAMADAN!

ok Sajal. There are two parties involved here. If this is the case, some responsibility is on Tahir Shah’s shoulders too. If Aamir has no sense, then Tahir should have used his own brain and thought better of what he was doing. If Aamir asked him to sing the vulgar song, Tahir could and should have said NO and chose to sing a more appropriate song. I do not believe anybody on that show is forced to do anything against their will - otherwise he would be crying about this too on his FB page.

Where is Tahir Shah's common sense? I would not be surprised if he just wanted to show off his English singing skills and this just backfired on him. He's being ridiculed by EVERYBODY, not just Aamir Liaquat. There are people who have created all sorts of videos poking fun out of him. That isn't Aamir Liaquat. Again - where is common sense? Any person with any sense would never have agreed to perform that, regardless of it being Ramadan or not.
It's very easy to point the finger at one person, but there are two parties involved here. Fair enough - Aamir Liaquat should not have made fun out of him, but he needs to take some responsibility for choosing to make a fool of himself on international television which has just gone viral.
