Tae-Bo anyone?

I recently tried Tae -bo,the Billy Blanks Dvd.(yeah that scary looking guy you might recognize from old infomercials!)
And did it kick my butt!!
I’ve started working out again , about three months ago , mostly running on my tread-mill , and free weights, so I thought I was in pretty good shape.
I put it on , and it’s about an hour long work-out , with mostly kicks and punches.you might think it looks easy , but it’s SO not.
I even felt a little silly in the beginning , punching and kicking thin air :hehe: …guess I had another think coming.
I was SO sore the next day, even walking down the stairs felt hard. And I could even feel the muscles that I’ve never felt before.

Just wanted to know if anyone else here has tried it and what they thought of it?

I used to do Tae bo regularly, and I loved it! As annoying as Billy Blanks is, the workout videos were awesome. Nowadays, instead of just doing cardio, I'm doing a mixture of various workouts.

Hey thanks for your input!

He can be annoying, with his 'I love you's" and "God is watching you!" hehe
The first day I got in only half of the video, but the next day I did the whole thing.

Just wanted a change from my regular treadmill routine I guess, and work different muscles.
Let's see how it goes ...

Re: Tae-Bo anyone?

Oh man..did this bring back memories! My PE teacher way back in high school loved showing us Tae bo videos! Yeah..in the beginning we all felt silly..but these workouts were not easy!

Re: Tae-Bo anyone?

s_mk, I don't think I ever finished a video. :D I'd just do the first 20 min or half an hour. That's all I've ever had the stamina or motivation to do. I get bored of working out very quickly. :D
