Do you know if their beans are refried? They look refried but I have checked an external website (for vegeterians), which states they are not.
Re: Taco Bell
I asked at the locations i go to and they actually showed me the can they use so i could read the ingredients and that didnt show any lard.
Re: Taco Bell
you must really love Taco Bell too ![]()
Re: Taco Bell
If your so conscious about a tiny bit of lard that might be in the taco bell refried beans....try to consider what their tacos might be made out of...and wehter the bean burritos are made seperately from the meat ones...what if they use same space for the other products...and meat remnants touch the veggie items?
Re: Taco Bell
I believe that ‘TINY BIT’ of lard comes from pigs. Yes, that is a big concern for me. I don’t think I mentioned anything about tacos.
What do you mean by ‘made separately’? Have you ever eaten there?
Then again why the hell should I care???
Re: Taco Bell
Hey I wasn't trying to cause any strife, but what I mean by made seperately is...
that even though your ordering a vegetarion bean burrito/taco whatever.....they usually make it using the same workspace as the meat items, and whose to say those meat items don't touch the veggie. I doubt they are that careful.. Usually when you walk in to order, you can kind of see what's going on...they don't exactly keep everything seperated is all I am saying
They might just be using the same spoon/uncleaned hand on the veggie stuff that they use on the meat stuff. Basically just be careful when eating out if your concerned about the meat. That's all.
