I have seen situation situation #1 before - and it does look ungraceful and cheap. To make it worse, the bride had bad posture and was kinda hunched over. Def. not elegant or graceful!

and omg to situation # 2. She should have shaved again like right before the reception!

Or refrained from lifting her lehenga and flashing her unshorn gams for all and sundry; the stubble is excusable, but the glaring lack of common sense thereof is not.
