But yes… totally agree that its wrong when the groom doesn’t move when the bride comes up to the “stage”. Even worse when he isn’t even look at her <— yes I saw this at a wedding. Groom was too busy talking to his own family. It makes it even more awkward looking when the bride and groom continue to not acknowledge each other’s presence even though they are sitting next to each other.
