Most of the Desi weddings I’ve attended took place in the US, so I’ve never seen a Geisha bride in person, but I saw photos from the wedding album of one. It was all I could do not to break down laughing; the bride (who’s normally the color of Alek Wek) look whiter than a sheet in all that greasepaint. If a MUA doesn’t have my shade in stock, then she won’t get my business and if she intentionally paints my face white (on my wedding, of all days) she’s going to lose some teeth. Simple as that.
