What if they do not consider themselves khawarjis? For them sunni may be off track.
You need to come out of one side of fence and look other's persective. As long as basics of religion are matched, this pompous attitude of callong others sect and self proclaiming the 'orthodox' is not good. Not saying that you leave what you feel comfortable with either.
Remember, your right maybe left for other.
When I started my sentence with word "Even", that means I had already eliminated 'righteous' meaning so no worries, will not go round and round.
^It doesn't matter what they consider themselves...if you want to think that khwarij are orthodox then keep thinking that, I'd go with what is universally accepted.
Of course they think that, that's why they separated themselves from the orthodoxy.
Just ask some shia why do they call himself shia or ask some Ismaili why he calls himself Ismaili....I'm not here to answer on others' behalf.
I would say that TJ are one of the best people on earth. At least they dont say bad to anyone, and practice deen as much as they can do. I found love and harmony among them for the people of other religion and sect.

right. It's this holier than thou attitude of TJ that's annoying.
I forgot to mention in my previous post that islamically every one is suppose to do tableegh.
it depends on each individual's nature. for example when I was teenager I found them most annoying people on earth, but in few years when I grew up I consider them OK.
annoying part was actually my self believe and stereotype but it vanished with age.
