Any good ideas for table decorations at shaadi?? other than boring flower display but something that won’t cost too much as well! Like Goldfish in a goldfish bowl (what would you do with the fish afterwards!?), or a display using red apples and red grapes (I’m wearing red so would match well).. Has anyone ever been to a wedding and seen anything different??
Re: Table decorations

Re: Table decorations
Hi Saima, got your PM, thanks! - I can't reply though as I haven't yet made 25 posts!! :(
Re: Table decorations
Ok never mind ul soon get em to 25. Have you booked a videographer yet? Or do you know of any good ones?
Re: Table decorations
Just got back from hols, was offline for a couple of weeks! I haven't really booked anything yet, I went home over the hols and was running around like mad trying to meet photographers, makeup artists, video guys, etc. in the little time I had. I think I will be booking people locally in Scotland rather than from down south as it's a lot easier for me to arrange things from there. Where are you based? Somewhere south i assume? There are so many more options in the south, everythings so limited up north its annoying!
Re: Table decorations
depending on the style of your wedding, you could also use bamboo in your centrepieces with tealight candles and little polished river stones, OR a single stem of one type of flower in the same colour in the same type of vase, lined up in rows of 4 or 5 vases each or in a circle with a tall candle in the middle, OR a single lantern set on a couple of palm leaves with a candle inside and then wrap a couple of long stemmed calla lilies starting at the base of the lantern up to the top, OR thread crystals through wire and wrap them around plain branches- they would sparkle very prettily when candlelight hits them- you can even get swarovski's, if you go to a wholesale jewellery supply store or beading store, in the colour of your choice.
and use a TON of candles. they really set the mood and candlelight flatters everyone!
