no. i has to do with health of the woman and the baby.
so it should be in this forum. i think. but if you feel that you should change the forum. then happily do so.

Well, I think back home, pregnant women rest more, crave more, complain more, are pampered more, dramatize more, etc etc, so aunties are used to pregnancy as being a Tabiyat ki kharaabi, whereas, here docs ask pregnant women to be as active as normal, unless there are complications, and lead a regular life, not to treat pregnancy as a disease but a natural condition.

I remember when I was pregnant, many aunties asked me to stop driving! I told them I wasn’t sick but they said it could affect the child. :smack:

However, many desi girls, and their husbands still make a big issue out of it. Special conditions are excluded here of course.

exactly Niksik, i guess the factor is to cover the huge blessing that is uncoverable, with tabiyet kharab heye. you're right, my cousin was the same way. a pharmacist. so she had to work long hours and everyone asked her not to. & rest instead.

but it is obviously necessary for women to be safe when they are expecting. and also for women to not have the belly hanging out. that is so not right, but many women do so, i wonder why.

By belly hanging out, do you mean big bellies? I guess all women are different in structure and the way the carry themselves. If they have regular check ups and the doctors allow them the freedom to move around and go about their regular day, then I guess it's OK.

I hate this thing when they say tabiyat kharaab hai .It happened to me two or three times I asked a lady are you expecting and she said naa just not feeling well Do I look stupid to you with your big 7 mnth belly and then her sister-in-law called after two mnths that a baby is born I told her good for you.
Mujhe yeh chupanay wali bat samjh nahi ati I hate those people who tells a lie in front of you just ke nazar aa lagey jahil ,paindu log.I have babies of my own mein ne kaya nazar lagani.
