Sami was last spotted running like a rabbit in some tang mohalla of Karachi. Someone asked the groundsman (of National Stadium, Karachi) who was chasing after Sami with a stump in his hand, "bhai kya hua, aise kyon bhaag rahe ho?"
The groundsman replied, "dus bar aisa hee hua, har dafa kehta hai aaj wicket zaroor loon ga aur har dafa sala ground se do (2) stumps ukhaar kar apnay ghar ley jata hai"
In Sami’s defence, he was the only bowler who gave us even an outside chance of beating Ireland in the last World Cup (2007) and if we had won that game, I am sure Sami would have been a hero.
