Gone ![]()
Look at it another way the required run rate at the start was 7.95 now it is 12, playing defensive is not going to work and like India found out yesterday leaving it too late doesnt work either.
No I meant accelerate by pinching singles and twos and hitting a four here and there but leave the big hitting - the lofted drives which are always full of risk unless you are as good as Viv Richards or Gilchrist or dead sure that you w'd clear the field easily; as a batsman you sometimes just know it - for the last 5 or 6 overs

Re: T20 World Cup: Pakistan v Ireland - June 15, 2009
so whats next, semi finals rite ?
Re: T20 World Cup: Pakistan v Ireland - June 15, 2009
Gul as his usual best
Stump cartwheeling :)
No reverse swing just a straight fast one ..... lets see how vettori reacts to this latest addition of wicket
Exactly...
and Harris bhai agrees too
Mohammad Haris (cricinfo): *"I don't know why Fawad Alam is in the team, he doesn't get the chance to bat and Younis Khan prefers Shoaib Malik instead of Fawad as the 6th bowling option. Fawad Alam is the genuine left arm spinner in the Pakistan side." *
\
===================================
*Omar: "Its funny the top T20 domestic performer in Pakistan, batting allrounder Fawad Alam made his debut in 2007 and since then has never consistently been given a chance to bowl or bat in ODI's or T20's. He however remains the team's best fielder. In time however, i suspect he will replace shoaib malik in the middle order." *
====================================
More and more are questioning Fawad's role in the team.

Hard working bowler Guls should deserve 1 or 2 wickets… ![]()
