re: T20 World Cup - Pakistan v Bangladesh - May 1, 10 + highlights
Bowlers are going to have to bowl much better if they want to win against Aus. Aamir, Sami and Ajmal were awesome but Hafeez and Afridi need to step it up tomorrow.

BD sure gave pakistan a run for their money
I am not convinced. If he does it tomorrow again I will start to change my view.
Well if he could not convince people with his performances in Australia, it will still be very hard for him to win his critics over, despite his performance tonight.
lets see what happens tomorrow. I think the team put tonight was really good. Asif is not really effective in death overs and thats where I would pick Sami over him in T20.
well said Fayz! :k:
Hafeez got the key wicket of Tamim Iqbal at a very key point and its not like we will always see our openers firing like they did so Hafeez is a must in T20, specially in Malik's absence.
I think the team played today was good. Razzaq should open bowling with Aamer and Sami should bowl four straight overs at the end just like Gul does...
Hafeez doesnt seem threatening enough. tamim was a really soft dismissal (as was Sami's first wicket) i just think we need another bowler in our arsenal and put a little more responsbility on the batsmen.
three all rounders is one too many really.
we need Asif in the team. Either at the expense of Sami (i dont expect him to be as successful against the aussies) or preferably Hafeez.

Quick highlights (10 min)
Re: T20 World Cup - Pakistan v Bangladesh - May 1, 10 + highlights
If we look to the matches where West Indies and India crushed their opponent i.e. Ireland and Afghanistan, Pakistan just barely made it in the end, If i remember right, in the last world cup India had same kind of performance against Bangladesh... we need to work real hard on our bowling and Batting as well, Although Salman Butt and Kamran Akmal played well but the credit of their batting goes to the below average bowling by bangladeshi bowlers, anyway a win is a win although it should have been with greater margin. The real test is going to be today, let see how Pakistani batsmen play against the organized team of Australia...
There need to be some changes in the team, Pakistan do need more bowling options, i think Moh'd Asif can trouble Australians more than Sami, in effect if we played with Sami then he might be the target of Australian batsmen who like straight fast bowler to score against...
Afridi need to come out of his hype and need to work on his bowling skills, he was pretty ordinary was treated like any b-grade bowlers by Bangladeshi batsmen... we need to read the pitch and bowl accordingly, as in the end it is his and Ajmal's 8 overs which shall be key element in he today's match...
