Malinga has been in superb form, but unfortunately, the teams are not learning and seem to be playing carelessly against him. It would be best to target other bowlers in the team and play safe against him.

Well, in world cup 2014, Pakistan would be lucky to get to semi-final and it is very unlikely that Pakistan would get to final. That means, according to your logic, Pakistan has good chance to do something unexpected.

I might be wrong, but from looking at strength of teams, I believe teams that might qualify for quarter finals would be:
Sri-Lanka
SA
Australia
India
but it is possible that one of above 4 could miss quarter final, replaced by England or Pakistan.
As for final, I think most likely teams would be any two from:
SL
India
SA
And most likely team that might win final would be SL ...
But then this is 20-20 and any team can perform unexpectedly on certain day to upset other teams and overall results.
