Toronto fans have been deprived of International cricket action since the late 90s… so any game, however immaterial is welcome.
With Afridi, Ajmal, Misbah, Umar Akmal, Sami and Hafeez in the Asia side, it’s pretty much Pakistan vs. International XI. Jayasuriya is also in the side.
In the Intl. XI, it’s Lara, Oram, Southee, Boucher and a couple of CDN players.
So who’s going to this? Regardless of the inconsequential nature of the match, it should be a fun day out.

I might. Its a golden and once in a long time opportunity (in Canada) to see live stars like Afridi, Ajmal, Umar Akmal, Hafeez, Lara, Boucher etc playing.
My only concern is that some of the cricketers whose names are used for publicity will not actually be able to make it as it happen in the case of singers, actors etc.

I would've thought about going if they actually had a true Asia XI and World XI! The best T20 players from around the world except Pakistan are all in the IPL right now.

I think the organizers have been very diligent in announcing the names... I've been following their tweets and they've actually taken the time to confirm who's coming... there were cases when they weren't sure of someone's availability and they publicized it as such.
