For those of you that don’t know the story (I posted a thread about it not too long ago in the Cafe) :
Our Journalism class decided to order personalized T-shirts for everyone on the School Newspaper staff. We each got our names or nicknames printed across the back. I had ordered “Phatima” to have been written on the back of mine.
After a couple weeks of waiting, we got the shirts. I got mine and turned it around to see that they had mispelt “Phatima”, and instead put “PHATMA”. (they forgot the i) .
Anyways, so I told my teacher and he started laughing (along with the rest of the class . Okay, I’ll admit, it is pretty funny. I had my friends calling me “PHAT MA” for the rest of the day.
Today I found out that he contacted the company and they said that they’d send in a new one with Phatima on the back, and I could also keep the one that said PHATMA.
I thought, for a moment, that this wasn’t just some random typo. It was probably just some cruel joke the company decided to play after reading my name What a bunch of jerks
