there was a rumour going around that krispy kreme donuts had alcohol in them, but yesterday, a employee in the heartland location, confirmed it: creme filled are haram..alcohol in the creme. The glazed ones are still under suspicion.
i also read mcdonalds fries are fried in beef tallow and the cheese (ofcourse) in the fishfilet has rennet/pepsin.
share if any info on any other common buys pls.

anyhow, i wasnt kidding, the employee in the heartland location, is infact a muslim and was inquiring about it to prove the rumour wrong...
so it turns out in the creme they add alchol to enhance the flavour. Hes working there and he said it.....u all are free to inquire about it if it makes any difference to u.
as for the mcdonalds fries.....the ingredients menu is a pamphelet right by the cashiers......for all those who choose not to plead ignorance.

it seems to me from the posts, most of u arent familiar with the fact that alcohol is infact put in cakes cream and icings to enhance flavour, as well as in salad dressing, dips, etc. thori si agir aap log research karay, u will be able to differentiate between what product can possibly be haram. If u ignore it, then dont laugh on ur own ignorance pls.
