Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

I wish it is all false. But facebook page alone is not the origin of this news.

It is not a shia/sunni issue. It never was. No sunni will do such a thing to the grave of a Prophet's companion. Instead it is a Muslim/Wahhabi issue. If given a chance, Wahhabis will do that to the grave of Ali ibn Abi Talib, Umar, Abu Bakr, and even Prophet himself. No sunni can even dream of doing that. So it is wrong to call it shia/sunni issue.

Assad is a secular dictator. He is not an angel. But blaming him for civil war and the only one responsible for all the massacres is false.
It is one thing that people rise up against dictatorship and implement democracy. But it is another issue when foreign governments start providing arms and money to certain section of population to topple the government, and implement ANOTHER dictatorship.
If Saudi and Qatari Wahhabis want to empower people then they should start from their own backyard; abolish dictatorship in their own country first, and allow demonstrations against the government in the own country.

Shaitan are those who started the civil war. Syrians wanted the change of government but they did not want the civil war and destruction of their country. The civil war was started by foreign khariji mercenaries. So they should be called the shaitan before labeling Asad.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

Assad is as secular as they come. Australian TV did a program where they sat down supporters of both camps and its a program to watch if you wish to get a better understanding of the situation. Though its a 6 month old program and since then the situation has become far more transparent and rebels have shown their loyalties and colors which belong to Al Qaeda. Those educated souls who wished for genuine reform within Syria have sidelined themselves from the brutal rebels who clearly do not have the best interest of all the Syrians (or humanity for that matter) at heart.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

You are quite right. Assad is not even Shia but Alawi who according to Shias are not even Muslims. Syrian regime is Baathi and anybody who knows what Al Baath party represents knows they have nothing but hate for religion particularly Islam. So one must not confuse this rebellion by putting it under a simplistic notion of Shia-Sunni sectarianism.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

^^^ The Syrians will regret ousting of Assad in very near future. The people who are about take over the country are Saudi backed Wahabbis & Al-Quedia/Taliban type. Sadly, people of Syria are about to jump from frying pan and into the fire.

Btw, whats with Whabibis & terrorists and their desecration of graves? Isn't there something in Islam that says you're not suppose to do that?

Everyone does that but the only difference is the degree of involvement. Iran was funding the houthi rebels in yemen (against Saudi backed Yemeni govt) and supported destructive forces in both Afghanistan and Pakistan. Syrian govt is one thing but Hezbollah should have stayed out of an internal Syrian affair. It only would further damage their reputation into a sectarian organization.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

This thread is not pro/anti regime......

Its abt a holy grave and holy body taken out of that holy grave.....

By now there shld be no doubt that it did happen..... Some of u r suggesting that it could have been done by asad's forces.... Some r suggesting its the people who have problem with shrines .... And who have destroyed shrines of ahl-e-bayt and ashaab before.

People who think i m being biased will even support these walad-ul-haram even if they come and announce in public that they did it. They might even support this act....

As from me, i believe if they didnt do it, they should come out and denounce this act.... And call it un-islamic.... By not denouncing it they are sort of admiting that they did it....

Regardless of its asad's forces or saudi/qatar supported forces.... Whoever did this shame act of destroying holy site, digging the gave and taking out holy body Hujr ibn adi ibn Hatim Tai, My Allah send his curse on those and put them in hell and let em rotten there for ever.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

Horrible things are happening in Syria. Why is'nt anybody taking any action about it. What is OIC doing. Never heard of them to take a stand. This situation might easily go out of hand.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

yeah i have been wondering the same. don't the arab and muslim countries have any clout over syria? or maybe they are all equally worried about revolts coming the way of their tribal monarchies if they openly encouraged anything. keep the sheep blind and fed.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

Horrible things are happening BECAUSE some countries are encouraging it. It started as part of Arab spring. People wanted democracy and let go of dictator there. They were repressed by government. But then neighboring countries like Saudi and Qatar started supporting their favorite section of population through money. Now Syria is a magnet for extremist jihadis from around the world. People who initiated the rebellion have been sidelined and now the reins are in the hands of extremists. If regime falls and Assad goes then we will have another Talibanic state there.
Then there are countries like Iran and Turkey, who are supporting different sides for other reasons.

So Muslim countries ARE taking action but it is only making lives of ordinary Syrians and the situation go even worse.

Having said all that, like Aqeel said above, this thread is NOT about Sryia crisis but about some so called Muslims desecrating the grave and remains of a prophet's companion.

UN accuses Syrian rebels of chemical weapons use - Telegraph

UN accuses Syrian rebels of chemical weapons use
Syrian rebels have made use of the deadly nerve agent sarin in their war-torn country’s conflict, UN human rights investigator Carla del Ponte has said.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

chemical weapons used in Syria, just listen to the petty and embarrassing excused of the UK and US who destroyed Iraq over fictitious chemical weapons.

This is why you can never trust these western government to interfere in your lands they only serve their own interests.

Re: Syria militants exhume grave of Prophet’s companion

^I agree. Involvement of western countries..making it much more worst. With that said..i strongly condemn this behaviour of disrespecting the body of Sahaba R.A.
