^^ I've removed the link. The point was to talk about the motives of this regime. I had heard about Assad and the violence in Syria, but that link really drove the brutality home.

The MAJORITY of the killings are done by militias sent from iran which hate arabs. Assad and other people in the government who have also gained power are encouraging him to stay in power. The sad thing is they are only gaining power out of it. There are many videos on youtube where people who are injured on the streets are collected and taken to hospital where they are tortured further in the hospital where the staff of the hospital are soldiers. The crimes are further more horrific such as people having their brains removed alive and children having their teeth and nails pulled out, (many aren't shown on tv but you can find them all online). The real question is why are the militias doing these crimes for free and what do they hope to get out of it, its all part of irans plan. i should know since im arab and have relatives living in syria.

It is true where are the Muslim countries in these matters? If the West interferes then they will be criticized for sending troops to Muslim countries, if they just sit back and watch they will be criticized for not doing anything at all.

Bashaar, the current President, is followers of ‘Alawite’. The Alawites, known by many names i.e. Alawi, Nusayris, Ansaris etc., are think they can communion with a supreme being and that supreme being could be any god (a prominent mystical religious group centred in Syria).
The origin of the Alawis is disputed. Some says ‘the alawite’ follow a branch of the Twelver school of Shia Islam some other says the Alawis themselves trace their origins to the followers of the eleventh Imām, Hassan al-'Askarī , and his pupil ibn Nuṣayr.
In short it a another cult which spreaded hartress among suni & shia.

Egypt signed a deal with Israel during 1979 in Washington, Jordan’s king signed a deal with Israel during 1994 and KSA also. All were the supporters of USA’s decision in return USA will give protection to them. That is why when first time Israeli occupied Palestine none came front and supported Palestine. Syria and Iran are left which needed by Israel to be invaded. But by war it is not possible so they lighted the war inside their own community as ‘suni & shia’ war.

We should do that wherever these tinpot dictators are killing innocent people, be it Syria or Bahrain. No room to pick and choose. They are all chawals and should be removed. They think these countrie sare their baap kee jageer.

If only syria had the oil the regime would have been toppled in the name of humanity, no oil no humanity. But Inshallah the day is not far when Asad will meet his fate. He can only kill so many. May Allah protect the people form this mad idiot.
