DAMASCUS, Syria – Syria has forbidden the country’s students and teachers from wearing the niqab — the full Islamic veil that reveals only a woman’s eyes — taking aim at a garment many see as political.
The ban shows a rare point of agreement between Syria’s secular, authoritarian government and the democracies of Europe: Both view the niqab as a potentially destabilizing threat.
“We have given directives to all universities to ban niqab-wearing women from registering,” a government official in Damascus told The Associated Press on Monday.
Ban on Burqa/Burka in Syria? You gotta be kidding me ----- well this ban on Burqa/Burka is absolutely bias and discriminatory.
It is a clear instance of a breach of the Syria’s commitment under international human rights treaties to respect equality and freedom.
Women around the globe must be given unconditional right to choose what to wear and what not to wear.
The country in question should be dealt with extreme harshness and must be penalized heavily for violation of woman’s .
but the circumstances in which the bombardment conducted is quiet justifiable. 1000 - 1500 soldiers were killed in one day, and loud speakers of mosques were calling people for jihad against the government.
it was a tactical decision to control the disease from spreading to other areas. Unlike in Pakistan where gay-talibans & their supporters are given free hand on the name of humanity.

Not surprising at all. All arab nations have or are on their way to abolish any sign of Islam in general public, back to square one. They're turning it into another secular dajjalic system. Greater Israhell is in the making, for which, the surrounding countries need to bow down to the dajjal.

1) I can safely postulate now that you have been absorbing way too much erroneous propaganda by media and the likes lately.
2) Please refrain from making generalized statements against one of the biggest and widely practiced religions in the world yet try to come up with intelligent and rational arguments instead.
3) Now if you can not differentiate between religious obligations and social evils of a said society then ----- I strongly suggest that you should pick up a book or two and start reading.
