anyone else saw that damn bird just chilling on the algerian goal, by bird i mean a real bird, just hanging out, nothing to fear no worries, 
I would say it was horrible football or the team was in shambles
but they played something that was not football, and there was no team, just a bunch of whingers kicking the ball aimlessly.

I watched the first 8 minutes of it and knew what the outcome was going to be, so decided to go out for food instead of putting myself through another 82 laboriously long-winded minutes of pure and utter BS.

england started off the world cup so well
gerrard scoring a brilliant goal against USA in opening minutes...
now the world cup dream is in tatters....
I had england going all the way to semi-finals.....
It really was the dullest thing I've seen in a while.

the world cup so far has been totally … as they say in punjabi “MaaTHaaa”
no sense of urgency from any side, no enthusiasm, no dazzling display of skill… just a bunch of guys wearing colored shirts kicking the ball around - goal shoal ho gaya tu theek hay warna koi baat nahi… Oye hum chaar saal intezaar kartay hain kay tight football daikhnay ko millay gi laikin inn ullo kay puttarooN ko koi khayal hi nahi hay 
I used to schedule my life around the world cup matches in the past, but this time its not worth it, after following the first few matches .. i have given it up…
Lets hope its gets more entertaining and we see some attacking football in the knock out stages.
