Anyone heard of this Academy that Noor keeps talking about on the movie channels? (btw, I saw his interview last night on Heart to Heart - and his past is quite shocking - its amazing that he’s advanced himself so much).
He has been saying in various interviews I’ve seen that he built an Academy, and last night I heard him say that in a few weeks, the first class of the institution will be graduating…
The classes are for acting, direction, camerawork, and production, stuff like that.
Syed Noor totally sucks. I mean he's so talented, the guy is just bent upon making tasteless, totally paindoo films which make you cringe -- I mean his last faeture Commando was laughable. And this is the same guy who made Sargam -- the mind boggles!
With the path his career is taking, I really don't have much hopes from this "academy". Most of all I don't think anything worthwhile can be expected form these Lahori film makers.
