After battlefield earth yet another disaster for John Trovolta. This movie was BAD! They tried to make Matrix come Face off, lekin kuch aur he ban gayee yeh movie. I am sure that 90 percent of the crowd was in the theatre to see Halle Berry naked. This was just like an Indian Masala movie which made no sense.
The plot was that the world’s most dangerous spy is hired by the CIA (Trovolta)to coerce a computer hacker(Hugh Jackman) recently released from prison to help steal $6 billion in unused government funds.
I dont know who the hell halle berry was. The stunts were okay. Unneeded obscenities.
I just watched the movie last night- we coldn't decide between Swordfish and Tombraider. It was quite violent. But I liked the way they threw the audience right into the movie, by showing that intense clip in the beginning.
The hacker dude, Stan (is he the wolverine guy from that other movie?)I thought he was good. Travolta's performance was brill as usual!
Yea..the bus scene was cool..
I I thought it was an awesome movie. For those of you who didn't like it.. I guess you didn't pay close attention.
The money value was $9 Billion that was on compounded interest from a drug organazation that the government set up. A brilliant plot.
How John Travolta J.T. masterminds the whole thing. He has a presence that totally bedazzles you from the very first to scene to especially the last (dont' want to give too much of it away for those who haven't seen it)
The steel balls in the C4 cannisters were another ingenious idea - never used in a movie before. That's why you see all those wholes in the Benz as it explodes. TIGHT
and the opening scene was totally awesome becase (and this has never been done before - this way) They carry you through the explosion as the wave is moving. If you've ever been around an explosion, that wave will knock off your feet.
Halle Berry is a definite plus in the movie but the beauty of J.T.'s masterplan to use her as a back up was definitely methodical and calculated.
The movie had everything, action, Halle Berry, Comedy, Halle Berry, A plot, Halle Berry, Emotion, Halle Berry and did I mention Halle Berry.
Out of a possible 10.. this movie gets a 7.
By the way, if you wanna see a 10 - watch fight club. A thinking man's movie.

I think the movie was pretty good compared to other action movies that have been out in some time. Vinnie Jones was in it, and the dude is awesome i just wish they had given him a more prominent role, i was his fan in his pro football career and like the way he acted in this movie as well as snatch, and lock stock and two smoking barrels. Hugh jackman did not have the hacker screen presence, they shoud have used the first guy who got shot in the police room, he had a more mysterious look and looked the part.
Travolta was amazing, the guy acted well and the whole anti-hero role suited him well. Halle Berry had a significance in the movie..as to how much this plan was masterminded ..as the dude said..misdirection
